                              ABOUT THIS VERY SPECIAL COMMANDER

First of all, let me say this is truly a one of a kind Commander, which is not for everyone. It is an aircraft for an owner who wants the best and most modern equipment money can buy in today's aviation world. Below you will find a detailed explanation of all that has been done to this Commander. The owner has invested over 1.8 million in this aircraft, of which over $800,000.00 was spent in the past couple of years on the incredible avionics, improvements, modifications and interior alone. It has an interior that rivals most expensive jets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to own the most advanced and best-equipped 690 series commander in the world. The owner has moved on to other things and is now willing to sell this aircraft for less than he has spent on the upgrades and improvements alone.

                              THE AVIONICS
N690EM is the most technologically advanced 690 series turbo commander in the world.  Over $500,000 was spent on the Sagem panel alone, including infrared vision. If you are not familiar with Sagem, they are the company that provides most of the avionics for the US military aircraft in addition to providing the guidance systems for our long-range missiles. I think this says it all about this company. Sagem is known for their dependability and ease of repair. Due to its military applications, the entire system is modular for ease of diagnostics and replacement. Any avionics shop can simply give the symptoms to Sagem, and Sagem will ship you the module you need overnight. It is designed for minimum AOG situations. Although the system is one of the most dependable in the industry, occasional failures can occur. If and when that should occur, the Sagem product support will make your experience as quick and pain free as possible. You simply have to fly this aircraft to appreciate the best there is in avionics technology. See the above spec sheet for the incredible list of avionics, including the infrared vision, which is typically found only in expensive jets. Once you've used it, you will wonder how you flew without the incredible safety feature.

                              THE INTERIOR
This commander has an interior which cost over three times the average refurbished commander interior and rivals that of expensive jets. It has been completed in very tasteful colors and with the best materials money can buy. The little things that the owner has done truly sets this interior apart from the norm. The two 10 inch drop down screens in both for and aft positions make the entertainment system viewable for everyone except those who need to keep their eyes on the road. The typical "troublesome" doors needed to provide privacy for the potty area have been replaced with specially designed carbon fiber doors that are not only function and easy to use, but are extremely light adding those precious pounds to the useful load. Elegant and practical, this one of the nicest interiors I have seen and will impress even the most demanding passengers.

                              THE ENVIRONMENTAL MODIFICATION:
The Peter Schiff environmental mod not only increases performance and pressurization, it allows you to cool the aircraft to a very comfortable temperature for the passengers before even starting the engines. No more sweating in that suit waiting for the aircraft cabin to cool on those 90-degree days. It is no secret that the pressurization system in a commander is something to be desired. No longer is it a problem maintaining max differential pressure enabling you to fly at the higher, more comfortable and fuel efficient altitudes. In addition, the system not only increases performance, but also decreases fuel burn. At today's fuel prices, the already fuel-efficient Honeywell engines are even more fuel efficient, saving dollars flight after flight. See the performance data below:

Peter Schiff CCU (Cabin Comfort Unit)
                              • Gain 50+ HP @ The Same Fuel Flow
                              • 15 Degree Celsius ITT Engine Temperate Reduction
                              • Save 21# Fuel Flow Per Hour
                              • Increased Range
                              • No Bleed Air In The Cabin
                              • Better Air Conditioning with Overhead Panel Outlets
                              • Pre-Cool The Cabin From A 120VAC Plug

                              THE BAGGAGE MOD
Every aircraft manufactured has its weak points. Baggage allowance is one of those weak points on a Commander. Installing the Sagem avionics and Peter Schiff environmental mod allowed for the removal of both the avionics shelf and the ground blower, which were both located just aft of the normal baggage compartment. This allowed for engineers to extend the baggage aft to almost double the capacity. Now, all the passengers can actually take their baggage with them. This is a major improvement for the Commander.

As previously mentioned, the owner has truly invested in the area of 1.6 million in their aircraft to make it the most desirable commander in the world. He has recently reduced the ask price from 1.2 million (which would be a $400K loss) to $895,000, which basically covers only what he spent on avionics and improvements. This is a rare opportunity, even in this market place, when you consider all that has been done and all that this aircraft has.

                              SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT!
I have heard the comment, "you can buy a newer aircraft for that". That is true, but most buyers purchase a newer aircraft to specifically get efficiency and technology. We have been quoted a very good price on overhauling these engines. With new engines, a buyer could be in this aircraft between $1.1 and $1.2 million. that may seem like a lot for a Commander, however, this is by no means a normal commander and this aircraft would be faster, have FAR superior avionics, and be considerably more fuel efficient than most mid 90's King Air 200's, and THAT'S A FACT!

The -10 engines are running excellent, exceeding book power. Many of the internal parts, including ALL the turbine wheels, were replaced with brand new approx. 1200 hours ago when the -10 conversions were done.
